In addition to writing numerous books on history and mythology for children, teenagers, and adults, I have also consulted on nonfiction publications for children, fact checking and providing guidance to authors and editors. I have also edited, reviewed and contributed to academic publications such as this volume for Bloomsbury Academic Publishing.

I have chaired panels and one-on-one interviews online and in person at literature festivals and independent events. In addition to my own YouTube channel and Podcast, I was the Creative Producer at the UK-based publishing house Pan Macmillan and was responsible for hosting their literary video series Book Break.

I have also presented online videos for BBC Bitesize, BBC Scotland's The Social, and Scottish Book Trust, and appeared as a regular host for the BBC Bitesize English Literature Podcast - listen here.

I offer talks and workshops on classical mythology and ancient history for all ages.

I have previously presented to children at schools and literature festivals, as well as having run undergraduate courses and presenting at researching conferences.
